Welcome
To the villages of Forncett. I hope this site will gradually grow to include Clubs, Societies etc. based within the village. The Forncetts are situated about 3 miles West of the A140 at Long Stratton. There are over 400 households within Forncett St Peter, Forncett St Mary and Forncett End
We currently have three active Churches, Forncett St. Peter, Forncett St. Edmunds and Forncett St Peter Methodists.
Forncett St Mary is home to the Forncett Steam Museum exhibiting Industrial Steam Engines with a steam-up first Sunday of the month, during the summer season.
Forthcoming Events in the Forncetts :
Saturday 6th September, 2008 2 p.m.: Diggers & Dibbers Garden Club first Annual Show is being held in the Village Hall, open to all, with auction of produce from 3.30 p.m.
Sunday 7th September, 2008 from 10 a.m.: Charity Horse Ride in aid of Village Hall Funds, starting in Great Moulton, refreshments available en route in Forncett Village Hall.
