Forncett Short Mat Bowls Club was started in 1987 and usually meets on Wednesday evenings in the local village hall.

The Bowls Club play in the Breckland League during the Winter season, between October and March. League matches are played by four triples playing 18 ends per mat, 2 points are awarded to a winning triple with 2 bonus points for scoring most overall shots per match, possible maximum of 10 points..

Anyone is welcome to come along on club night and can have a go, no equipment is needed as we have spare bowls for you to use. Just bring a pair of flat smooth soled shoes to wear on the mat.
